well, I personally speak in tongues, so I may be just a little biased ;) lol.
I think speaking in tongues is one of the purest ways we can vocally express our worship to God. I love it, because though my mind doesn’t comprehend what I am saying, my heart and spirit are having communion with God, which makes it so much more intimate to me. It’s absolutely something that has strengthened my heart in Christ.

I saw your post and looked up this scripture: 1 Corinthians 14:2-19

I don’t speak in tounges, but after reading this passage “for me” I would like to know exactly what I’m praying, saying or singing to God, even for intimate, personal time…God could understand what you’re saying if it’s truly coming from the spirit, but if you aren’t an interpreter of the tounge than you aren’t even able to decipher what you’re comminicating to God…=/
